Dangote Refinery begins free Petrol delivery to six locations, returns ex-depot price

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has commenced free delivery of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) to six locations across Nigeria while retaining its ex-depot price of N1,075 per litre.
The refinery announced the initiative on Wednesday,July 8,2026, via its official X handle, stating that the free delivery service covers Lagos, Ogun, Rivers, Kaduna, Delta states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
According to the company, the offer applies to customers purchasing a minimum of 250,000 litres of petrol.
The latest initiative comes shortly after the refinery held talks with stakeholders in Nigeria’s downstream petroleum sector on cost-reflective petrol pricing, with participants expressing support for further reductions in fuel prices.
Dangote Refinery recently announced its fourth reduction in the gantry price of petrol, bringing the ex-depot price down to N1,075 per litre.

Commenting on the development, the President of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Abubakar Maigandi, said the retail price of petrol had dropped by N125 per litre over the past three weeks.
He noted that pump prices currently range between N1,155 and N1,299 per litre, depending on location and the marketer.
