A social group, 260 Legacy Solidarity, has commended the Deputy National Chairman, South of the All Progressive Congress,, APC , Dr. Ben Nwoye, for his financial support and commitment to grassroots mobilisation, describing the gesture as an encouragement to greater women participation in politics.
The group gave the commendation on Tuesday, September 8,2026, as members rallied support for the party’s campaign flag-off in Oji River and Udi Local Government Areas of Enugu State.
The women, under the leadership of their Founder and Grand Convener, Dr. Stephanie Amaka Ngene (Dr. SAN), joined APC faithful and party stakeholders at the flag-off of the APC Local Government Elections Campaign in the two Local government areas.
The group also acknowledged the support of Hon. Anthony Ngene , saying his contribution had remained invaluable to the mobilisation efforts of the movement.
The delegation, comprising state and zonal representatives, was warmly received by members of 260 Legacy Solidarity Women in Oji River and Udi, with the large turnout demonstrating the strength and unity of the movement at the grassroots.
The women reaffirmed their solidarity with APC political aspirants for the 2026/2027 elections, stressing their commitment to grassroots mobilisation and increased participation of women in the political process.
The group further commended Dr. Stephanie Amaka Ngene for making the mobilisation possible and providing leadership for the movement.
The women declared their resolve to continue building a stronger grassroots network under the banner: “260 Legacy Solidarity — From Ward to Centre, Tomorrow Is Here.”
