The statement reads in full:
DISCLAIMER
The attention of the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Enugu State, has been drawn to a misleading and unverified social media post by BT Afrika, which falsely portrays a washed-off road as being located in Enugu State.

The road alleged to be constructed by Enugu state government.
We wish to state unequivocally that the road depicted in the said post does not correspond to any ongoing or completed project executed by the Enugu State Government. The claim is therefore inaccurate, misleading, and a clear misrepresentation of facts.
It is instructive to note that all road projects executed by the Ministry are constructed with a proper stone base course as part of the pavement structure and are complemented with functional drainage systems designed to manage stormwater effectively. The road shown in the said post visibly lacks these fundamental engineering features, further confirming that it is not one of our projects.
The Enugu State Government, under the leadership of His Excellency, Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, remains committed to delivering durable, high-quality, and climate-resilient infrastructure. All projects undertaken by the Ministry are subjected to strict quality control, supervision, and adherence to established engineering standards.
We therefore challenge the publisher of the post to clearly state the exact location of the road in question, with verifiable details, to substantiate their claim. In the absence of such evidence, the post should be regarded as a deliberate attempt to misinform the public and undermine the visible progress being made in the State.
The general public is advised to disregard the said post and rely only on official government channels for accurate and verified information.
