National Leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Senator Seriake Dickson, has assured the party’s candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections that their nominations remain valid despite a recent court ruling setting aside an earlier judgment directing the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to register the party.
Speaking on Sunday in a television programme, , Dickson said there was no cause for alarm, stressing that the party was taking appropriate legal steps to address the issue.
He thanked Nigerians for their support, saying thousands of people had continued to register with the party since Friday, describing the response as a sign of growing confidence in the NDC.
Dickson maintained that the NDC had not been deregistered and that its candidates for all elective positions, including state assemblies, the House of Representatives, the Senate, governorships and the presidency, were validly nominated during primaries monitored by INEC.
According to him, the nominations were conducted within the timetable approved by the electoral commission, adding that the subsequent submission of candidates’ names to INEC is only an administrative procedure.
He said the court did not order the deregistration of the party and that no such action had been taken.
His comments followed a ruling by the Federal High Court in Lokoja, which vacated its earlier judgment directing INEC to register the NDC.
Justice Isah Dashen ruled that the earlier judgment affected the rights of the Peace Movement Party (PMP), which was not joined in the suit despite claiming ownership of the logo used by the NDC in securing the registration order.
Counsel to the applicant, C.S. Ekeocha, said the PMP approached the court after discovering that the NDC’s registration application relied on a logo the party had earlier submitted to INEC.
The court subsequently agreed that the PMP’s rights had been affected and set aside the previous judgment.
Bookmarking this for later, the kind of resource I want to keep nearby, and a quick look at torquetiara confirmed the rest of the site is worth the same treatment, definitely going into my reference folder for the next time the topic comes up at work or in conversation with someone who asks.

Yo, 69betwin! Just wanted to say this site is legit. Easy to navigate, and the games are actually pretty sweet. Had a decent winning streak last week. Check it out for yourself: 69betwin

I’ve been using Nonebet for maybe four months now, mostly late nights, and figured I’d write something up since a mate asked me. Signup was painless — email, password, done, although the ID verification came later, which every licensed site does anyway. Min deposit was around $10 which is fine for a casual punter.
The lobby’s big — somewhere north of 4,000 games from memory. Pragmatic Play dominates, so Sweet Bonanza and Book of Dead are sitting right on the front page. I mostly stick to the Megaways stuff when I’m not chasing. NetEnt back catalogue is there as well. The live section is Evolution-powered, so you get actual dealers, roulette running 24/7 and Crazy Time and Monopoly Live if that’s your thing.
Bonus-wise the offer when I joined was a match up to around $750 with 200 spins, wagering was 40x which is about average. They also had a no-deposit spins offer at one point but it comes and goes. Offers rotate a lot so it’s worth reading the actual T&Cs at learn more before you claim anything. The one thing that annoyed me is the $5 max bet cap during bonus play — breached it once without noticing and the balance got voided. Lesson learned.
Cashouts at Nonebet have been fine, mostly. Crypto came back within a couple of hours both times, e-wallets were 24 hours or so, but the Visa one took three business days which felt long. Funding is instant with Visa, Mastercard and the usual coins.
Their live chat answered me at 2am, actual humans after the first canned reply. No app for Nonebet that I’ve found — it’s just the mobile browser, works well enough on the Android. It’s a Curacao licence, so not local regulation, something to be aware of if you’re in Australia.
Genuinely useful read, the points are practical and easy to apply right away, and a quick look at chocolateroom confirmed that this site is consistent in that approach, looking forward to digging through the rest of it when I get the chance to sit down properly later in the week or this weekend.
Been signed up at Single Bet Calculator for about four months now, mostly late at night on the sofa, so take this for what it’s worth. Found it off another forum thread, nobody paid me.
The game selection is bigger than I expected — roughly 4,000 slots according to the filter counts. Play’n GO is everywhere, so Gates of Olympus and the rest of the greatest hits are all there. I tend to live on Yggdrasil stuff because the volatility suits me. Small annoyance — searching for a specific slot at Single Bet Calculator is more faff than it should be, filters half work.
Live tables are almost entirely Evolution, no complaints there. Proper human dealers, decent stream quality, and Crazy Time is rammed on a Friday. Should mention the UK side is well covered in the evenings. If you want to compare the current terms I’d have a nose at single bet calculator since the offers shift about.
Bonus-wise from Single Bet Calculator came as ?100 matched plus 100 spins on Book of Dead. Rollover is 40x which is about par these days. There was a small no deposit thing when I registered. ?10 minimum, same as everywhere, registration was quick, KYC took a day.
Cashouts have been fine. Debit card take 2-3 days, Skrill hit in a few hours, and Bitcoin is quickest if you use it. Pulled ?180 out on Tuesday no silly document requests. Support at Single Bet Calculator took ten minutes once, three another time — human, not a bot script. Properly licensed for UK players, which matters more than the bonus size. App-wise there’s nothing, which is mildly annoying but the site works fine.
