According to him, the primaries covered the governorship, House of Representatives and House of Assembly elections. He added that consultations with stakeholders and consensus-building among party members ensured harmony.
“There was no rancour because consultations were held before amicably,” he said.

The APC chairman noted that the emergence of candidates for various elective positions had further united members of the party across the state, stressing that residents were satisfied with the outcome of the exercises.
He maintained that the APC had become the dominant political force in the state, attributing the development to the leadership and performance of Governor Peter Mbah.
According to him, the governor’s achievements in road infrastructure, healthcare, education, transportation and water projects had strengthened public confidence in the party ahead of the next election cycle.

Chukwunweike cited the establishment of Enugu Air and the execution of b across all the 260 wards in the state as evidence of what he described as visible governance.
“Today, projects are ongoing in all the 260 wards in Enugu State. Smart schools, health centres, roads, water schemes and environmental projects are everywhere. The people can see the impact directly,” he stated.
The APC chairman also commended Governor Mbah for reconciling different political interests within the state, saying the move had consolidated support for the ruling party.
He expressed optimism that the momentum generated during the primaries would be sustained through the general elections, insisting that the APC would emerge victorious in 2027.
“With the level of support the governor enjoys and the achievements already on ground, we are confident that APC will record victory when the general elections are eventually conducted,” he said..
