Police public relations officer Enugu state police command, SP Daniel Ndukwe in a statement made available to Newsmen on Wednesday in Enugu, said , “during the operation, one male suspect, Francisco Olugba (aged 29), was arrested. Items recovered from him include quantities of suspected Cannabis Sativa, bags containing clothes reasonably suspected to have been stolen from victims, eleven (11) SIM cards of various network providers, a pair of scissors, and other exhibits.
“The operatives also dismantled drug peddling and consumption hubs, disrupting related criminal activities in the area and destroying makeshift structures (“bunks”) used for such purposes. Investigations are ongoing to apprehend other members of the criminal network and uncover the full extent of their operations.
