Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, Mamman Giwa, has felicitated the Muslim faithful in Enugu State on the successful completion of Ramadan and the Eid-el-Fitr celebration. coming up on Friday, urging them to sustain the values of peace, tolerance, and sacrifice that define the season.
The police public relations officer Enugu state police command SP Daniel Ndukwe in a statement made available to Newsmen on Wednesday in Enugu said, CP Giwa has ordered the strategic deployment of personnel, intelligence, and operational assets across the State, with intensified patrols and enhanced security presence at prayer grounds, recreational centres, and other public places during the celebrations.
He has also directed Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, and Heads of Tactical Units to ensure effective supervision of deployments and operations, while strengthening collaboration with other security agencies throughout the period.
