Enugu State police Command wishes to inform all applicants of Enugu State origin who were successful in the online application for the ongoing 50,000 Police Constables recruitment that the Senior Police Officers’ Mess, Agbani Road, Enugu, has been designated as the venue for the physical and credentials screening exercise.
According to the statement made available to Newsmen by the police public relations officer of the command, SP Daniel Ndukwe on Thursday in Enugu, the screening exercise will commence daily at 7:30 a.m. and will run from 9th March 2026 to 18th April 2026.

Applicants are requested to visit the recruitment portal: npfapplication.psc.gov.ng to check their status and print the following documents, which they must present at the screening venue on the assigned date and time indicated on their Invitation Slip:
a. Invitation Slip
b. Application Submission Slip
c. Credentials and Physical Screening Forms
Additionally, applicants are to come along with the following documents:
a. Original National Identity Number (NIN) printout or card issued by NIMC
b. O’Level (SSCE/GCE) certificate(s)
c. Birth certificate or Declaration of Age
d. Local Government/State of Origin certificate
e. Trade Test/Certificate (for specialist applicants only)
f. Duly completed and signed Guarantor’s Form, attached with the referees’ passport photographs and photocopies of their valid means of identification
Applicants must neatly arrange the original and duplicate copies of the aforementioned documents and credentials in two separate white files, each attached with their recent passport photographs. They are also required to appear at the screening venue on the date indicated on their Invitation Slip, dressed in clean white Polo or T-shirts and shorts, as well as white stockings and canvas.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Mamman Bitrus Giwa, psc, has urged applicants to strictly abide by all stipulated rules and guidelines for the screening exercise. He also warned them against falling prey to job scammers operating under any guise, emphasizing that the recruitment exercise is absolutely free and carries no pecuniary obligation.
CP Giwa further charges Police Officers and other members of the screening team to uphold integrity, fairness, justice, and transparency throughout the exercise. He enjoins them to shun any act capable of bringing the image of the Nigeria Police Force, the Police Service Commission, and other institutions represented in the team into disrepute, or jeopardizing the integrity of the recruitment process.
