Enugu Electricity Distribution Company Plc (EEDC) wishes to inform its electricity customers in Abia (Umuahia), Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo States that it experienced a loss of supply from its source of power today at about 10:48 am.

EEDC,Emeka Ezeh in a statement made available to Newsmen on Tuesday in Enugu , said, “This development resulted in the power outage experienced by customers served by our subsidiary companies—MainPower, TransPower, FirstPower, NewEra, and EastLand. The reason is yet to be known.
Ezeh said they were liaising with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely restoration of supply across the affected areas.
“We are on standby, liaising with the relevant stakeholders to ensure timely restoration of supply across the affected areas.
“We count on your kind understanding, and sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this outage may have caused our esteemed customers”, he said..
