Enugu state government, says acquisition of digital skills is now mandatory for promotions of it’s civil servants across the state.

DG, Enugu SME Center/Enugu MSME & Startup Agency, Arinze Chilo-Offia made this known in a statement he made available to Newsmen in Enugu
According to him,”Following the successful rollout of multiple training cohorts led by the *Enugu SME Center / Office of Digital Economy (Enugu MSME & Startup Agency), over tens of thousand civil servants have been empowered with productivity, e-governance, and cybersecurity skills across MDAs and LGAs.
He said the training was In line with Governor Peter Mbah’s bold vision to transform Enugu into a digitally driven, efficient, and citizen-responsive governmen
“This landmark reform ensures that no public servant is left behind in the digital age—boosting transparency, accelerating e-service delivery, and upskilling our w²orkforce to drive Governor Mbah’s “Tomorrow is Here” agenda,” Chili-Offia said.
