Commissioner of Police, Enugu state police comm, Mamman Giwa, has extended warm felicitations to the Government and good people of Enugu State, particularly Christians, as they celebrate this year’s Christmas, which commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ.
He described Christmas as a momentous annual celebration that reminds humanity of the purpose of the birth and advent of Jesus Christ to the world, which is to bring salvation, hope, love, and redemption to believers.
In a statement made available to Newsmen in Enugu on Thursday, by the police public relations officer, Enugu police command, SP Daniel Ndukwe ,the Commissioner urged Christians to celebrate with this consciousness, showing love, charity, and kindness to one another, especially to the needy, while remembering that Christ is the reason for the season.
CP Giwa further reiterates the unwavering commitment of the police FFS to ensure the safety and security of all residents of Enugu State and visitors throughout the festive period.
“While wishing all a merry and joyous Christmas, he enjoins citizens to remain law-abiding and vigilant while celebrating and to promptly report suspicious persons or criminal activities.
