CP Giwa congratulates Enugu citizens on Nigeria’s 66th independence, assures improved security

Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, Bitrus Giwa, has congratulated the people of Enugu State and Nigerians on the nation’s 66th Independence Anniversary, assuring residents of continued improvement in security across the State.

This was contained in a statement made available to Newsmen by the Police public relations officer,Enugu state Command, SP Daniel Ndukwe on Wednesday in Enugu.

According to Ndukwe, CP Giwa commended the people of Enugu State for their support and cooperation with the Police and other security agencies, noting that sustained community partnership remains crucial to maintaining peace and public safety.

“The Commissioner reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to strengthening crime prevention, intelligence-led policing and rapid response, while urging residents to always remain vigilant, law-abiding and supportive of security efforts.

“The CP wished the people of Enugu State and all Nigerians a peaceful and memorable Independence Anniversary, and called for continued unity and collective responsibility in building a safer society”, Ndukwe stated.
